getting started

Getting started with SCM

Getting started with SCM is a simple process:

  1. We will provide you with the relevant documents for signature, depending upon your individual situation.

  2. Once the signed documents are received, SCM will design an individualized portfolio management strategy for you using your investment goals and simulations of various management strategies.

  3. You will either open a new E*TRADE account or designate an existing E*TRADE account for management by SCM.  The contract documents give SCM permission to execute trades within your E*TRADE account in accordance with your portfolio management strategy.

  4. SCM will provide you with quarterly updates on your portfolio performance.

  5. When questions arise, contact us.

Note: SCM can manage 401K or IRA accounts just as easily as traditional investment accounts.  The long term, tax advantaged nature of these account often allow a more aggressive investment strategy.

If you are ready to open an account with SCM:
  • open the new client questionnaire
  • complete the questionnaire, and
  • fax it toll free to SCM
See our brochure for disclosure information and more details about our services.
SCM is committed to our client's success in the stock market. Our goal is to achieve extraordinary long term returns for each and every one of our clients.

The American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) designated Stockworm as a 'top pick' for stock valuation and ratings in 2004.
